Hi,
I have the Zen Vision M 30gb
A few months ago it stuck on the welcome screen and after postings on this site I was able to get it into recovery mode and used the Clean Up option which solved the problem. However, the player was very slow to start and turn off after that procedure, usually taking 10 or 15 mins to shut down. It also went into Re-build mode quite often.
I decided to use the recovery mode again and reload a new version of the Firmware. Mine is v0.0.16 and the new version is 1 62 02. Each time I tried to reload it I got the message “Reload Failed”.
I then downloaded the Recovery Tool but each time I click on the icon it just installs itself on my computer and doesn’t seem to do anything else.
All data is now deleted from my player but I do have it backed up on my hard drive. All I get when I switch on is the recovery mode screen.
The player is still recognised by my computer.
Any suggestions?
