Just spent sometime with the Dish Network tech support. If any of you have their PVR unit and experience random channel changes where it will scroll through all of the channels very quickly, the problem is due to UHF interferance from other electronics such as your VCR. If you call tech support then they will have you change your remote address ID number, this changes the frequency of your remote and shoulf fix the problem. If it doesn't then you need to move your PVR away from the other electronics al together.
I have mine sitting on top of my VCR, but changing the frequency seems to work. Hope this helps everyone!
