I like Freelancer

I recently got freelancer for the PC, and am totally enjoying it. I think it has a great story line in single player, lots of replay value, and good looking graphics.

The game play is long as well in single player mode, so you wont beat it in one sitting, and can be challenging.

I have yet to try multiplayer but I hear its a blast.

Anyone else playing it?

This is a game that I was actually considering...

Ever since I was done with FreeSpace 2...only a handful of games have tickled me....and this seems to be one of them...maybe :)

How are the controls in the game?

I remember Free Space that was an awsome game. I think I used a gamepad for that one. Dang says that Freelancer is meant for a mouse though, so I wonder how the controls are?

Beautiful graphics, fantastic sci-fi story with starships, jump gates, worm hole, planets, aliens...
A strong gameplay, no bugs, no crashs.
I think it's a future Top seller !

I have finished the story with Juni in one week and now im exploring the complete universe.

I'm a lil confused, maybe cause it's early in the morning...

But is it a Space Sim game?

And you are only allowed to use a mouse/keyboard? No Joystick or gamepad?

No need for joystick.
Its a mouse/keyboard game, but the controls are excellent.
there are 2 modes for flight, free flight where your mouse controls all movement or non-freeflight (just hit the space bar).
When you are not in freeflight, its like autopilot. You can select
where you want to go to and it will fly there avoiding space junk, etc. You can still move with the mouse in this mode but you have to hold down a mouse button while doing it.

The game is excellent! I've tried multiplayer which is fun too.
Definately check this out, I highly recommend this game, which is something I not often do.

Al right, I went and bought it! there, happy now! sheesh. I must admit, that it is a great game. easy learning curve to control. I was suprised how easy, with the mouse and all. Good call Mr DANG sir. My hat is off to your taste in games,.
