Here are three sites that have laptops which utilize the Geforce4 420 graphics card and a 15.2 screen and 1280X854 resolution.
If any of these drivers update, they should work on the VPR matrix.
Higrade 6700 laptop (no drivers as of yet but is listing on their website
ftp://ftp.higrade.com/pub/notebook/
Joybook
http://www.acercm.com.tw/service/joybook/drivers.htm
They at least put the driver version.
Gericom Hollywood laptop
ftp://ftp.gericom.com/Notebook/
These are the only notebooks that I know of that contain a 15.2 screen and are windows based.
If there are any others, please let me know. Keep a watch and let others know of any new drivers.

Anyone have any luck with getting the newer NVIDIA drivers to work yet on their 200A5?
The document located on NVIDIA's web site below seems to have the answers we need but I haven't had time to play around with the drivers to find the solution.
NVIDIA Compressed Modes User's Guide (PDF) (http://download.nvidia.com/Windows/40.41/NVCompMode_UG_20.pdf)
This document is located on the Windows XP/2000 41.09 Drivers (http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?IO=winxp-2k_41.09) page at the bottom.
Has anyone read this document and figured it all out yet?
Just wondering...

Tried adding the resolution but it doesn't show up in thedisplay control panel. It's missing a string or else it's in the driver itself. I'm taking a break from this for now but will continue later... So dam tired of installing driver, removing drivers, rebooting... :-)

DNT,
I feel the same way you do. After installing and uninstalling every conceivable driver formulation, I just got pissed and tried. I am starting to believe that certain files in the newer sets 40+ (specifically the nv4_disp.dll) are compiled differently as to not take the 1280X854 resolution correctly. Anyway I am waiting for one of the previously mentioned sites to place a newer driver up. Since the notebooks have the same resolution and video card, it will work.

i have 200a, and i dont see anything wrong with the driver.
why you look for video driver again?

I see that MadToast mentioned above says that they support vpr Matrix and they have 1280x854 in the latest INF file for driver version 43.45.
So, has anyone tried it yet?
Does it work?
Let us know!

The inf file does not support 1280x854
It does have other 1280x ........ but not 854.

i could get 1280x854 to display in windows video driver settings, but when i try to select that resolution, my whole screen goes blank, though i could output it to a regular CRT and it *seems* to be displaying 1280x854 just fine. i'm tired.
