The local Best Buy has an open box available they are willing to sell me for $1099,-....... but there is no AC-adapter. And the VPR Matrix adapters are on order so I have no means of testing out this system...

Can anyone provide me the specs on the AC-adapter for the 200A5?

I need the following:

output voltage 19v????
output amperage
output watts

I have access to Dell, Gateway & IBM ac adapters and should be able to match one with this notebook.

Here's a link from the VPR Matrix website...

Hopefully that helps a lil bit :)

Oooh you got a good deal. Just go to Radio Shack and pick up an AC adapter and you should be all set!

reading off the back of my adaptor...

output voltage: 19V
output current: 4A

i guess for the power you should just multiply the two.. 76W seems sensible.

I know I already have an ac adapter with these specs, just need to find the right connecter and it's a go.

bestbuy.com doesn't have them.

After alot of research I found that a Compaq 2110US uses a compatible adapter. I ordered one from hp and it works perfectly.

hello dbischops
I got same situation as your. They give me a HP ac adapter
This is model adp-75hb
spec: input 100-240v ~ 2.25A 50-60hz
output 19V 3.95 A

Run perfect in my 200a5 systems. Hope this help you. I recommend you to get this AC adapter is made by Delta electronic .

By the way how can they offer you $1099. I got mine last week at $1275. I should go back and pricematch. Which city are you talking about?

I haven't bouht it yet, so I'll keep the city secret until I do tomorrow morning.

They did not advertise it for $1099,-, it was actually $1349,- for the open box and I talked to the sales guy for about 45 minutes and he finally offered $1099,-

Never hurts to try to go lower on the price :)

45 minutes? they got me for 30 minutes. Anyway I wish their sale team is women. It would help cut out the deal time. hehehe

PS: don't forget your $150 dollars rebate. Use that to buy extended service. I got mine rebate and I bought that damn PSP insurance. At least I feel secure now for the next 3 years

I have something that you want. But i can only sell it to some one who is 30 to 18 years of age. Tell me your age and why you need it. If there is a way for me to send it to you i will.

Picked up an Open Item VPR Matrix 200A5 for 1099.99 also. And they gave me the service plan for 199.99. Now I am on a hunt for the AC Adapter. Thanks for all the info!

I need help! I am trying to get the HP AC Adapter, BUT there seems to be 2 different part numbers.

on HP.com they have F4814A as the AC Adapter, but in other stores I found F4600A as the part number. They both are 19V 3.95A, but I don't understand y the different part number.

And, there are other part numbers like ADP-75FB and ADP-75 HB.

Which AC Adapter is for the 200A5????

Just wanted to let you know that I dig your signature, it is hella cool. What kind of bike is that? It looks like a Yamaha or Hyabusa to me. Is your car a BMW? What model? I am interested in the 330Ci.

Thanks for the compliment!

The bike is the 1999 Yamaha R1. And the car is the 2000 Audi S4.

If you're interested in modding your 330Ci (if you get it), check out this website, www.wheelpower.com. You can check also check out www.twcompetition.com. If you need some parts, shoot an email to me at andy@wheelpower.com. :D

Will those same adapters work for the 180B5 VPR Matrix model. I can get one at best buy for $500, but the adatper is on backorder. Thanks!!!
