integrated network card

I just got my vprmatrix 185A5 and found three problems so far, two of them well known (clicking HDD noise and unbalanced laptop), but the third one is driving me nuts.

¿Anyone had any trouble with the internal network card? I can't get it to connect either to my switch or to the hub.

On powerup does it already lights your hub/switch port?

I had exactly the same problem. Then I realized that there's a switch on the left side of the notebook to turn the wireless interface on and off, and I had never turned mine on. When it's on, the light on the front of the laptop (not far from the CD controls and volume dial) should turn on.

Well... I was talking about the Fast Ethernet network card :)

I have the 200A5 and I am ableto keep both the integrated ethernet and the wireless ethernet to work at the same time without any problems. I am not sure why your system is having trouble...
