I'm really unhappy right now because my Wifi switch broke while using it. It just clicked, then snapped back, then when I went to turn it off, it just slid back and forth loosely.

It worked fine, but then I had to reboot and take out of the battery because of some weird ACPI related sleep problem, and now I can't turn the freaking thing ON!!

Is there any way to turn this thing on? I know somebody else was told to try the Ambit software, but it just doesn't work.

Perhaps someone with severe BIOS hacking ability, or knows something about reading status registers in ACPI fixed hotkey devices....

I'm going to have to send this thing back. I don't even care if the wifi is always on. Grr!

Sorry...venting, chaps.

Is the light suppose to go on even tho there's no wireless connection? I slid mine to the wireless toggle, but the light did not come on. Should I bring it back to BestBuy to have it fixed?

WELLLL!!!!
I would suggest that you check to see if your send is working FIRST. ya know the OTHER part of the wireless network?
I dont know if this a power light or a network connection indicator. READ your manual.
