It is surprising to see Gateway make a system which costs this much. They must see Alienware selling systems at 4 grand a piece and think there is a market for a system like this afterall. I love the 2 18" LCD monitors too. I looked at Gateway's site and the hard drives are both 7200RPM drives which is pretty sweet.

I wonder how much the video editing software is worth on its own?

Well I think that it's a little high priced. Probably just my cheep o a$$ tho. I would much rather build a system such as this, But I doubt that I could do it for the price. : >(
