Hello all,
I just picked up a 200a5 on Friday, and the battery won't hold a charge. When the AC is plugged in, it says the battery is at 100%, then I unplug, and within 2 minutes it gives me a low battery warning, and the charge level is at 7%.
I bought the BB warranty, and they're sending me a new one, but could it be a computer problem and not a battery problem?
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.

Is the light on your AC adapter on when its plugged into the wall? If there is no light on the adapter, then it is not charging.

The light is sometimes on, sometimes off. Most of the time, it stays on.

I had a problem with my AC Adapter and had to return it. The light would not come on and it turned out it was not charging my system.

Go back to best buy ask them to let you borrow the HP ac adapter and try to charge with HP ac adapter. If it work fine, just take the HP adapter intead of the VPR matrix. Mine is run like a champ with HP ac adapter. I'm glad to have the HP one.

my batt runs out fairly quick, i know that under heavy loads like gaming batts drain quicker, but even under circumstances like Word, i only get half of what i should get on a full charge.

explain.
