Well we'll see if they care for their customers or not in about a week. My Insperion 2650 has a problem where the key board will not respond to certain keys at intermittant times. All diagnostic tests pass so it must be a hardware issue. After 30 minutes on the phone with tech support, they arrange to have it picked up tommorrow by Airbourne and returned in 4 business days which would be next Tuesday, repaired or replaced. Well since my rig is custom made, I am hoping they will repair it and send it back. Not to mention the time it took to set up my config. Time will tell, a short time I hope.:confused:

I have heard nothing but good things about their support. They replaced a friend of mine's laptop with a brand new one after a year or so because his old one wasn't working right.

No Airbourne yesterday. They dpopped off a shipping box today and are picking back up in about an hour. Pretty cool! we'll see how the rest of it goes. Prolly not til Wed. now

Well, so far lot's of emails wondering how I like the Customer Care, but I did not get my comp back today as promised. Not too suprising as the packing was sent a day late. I will update this tommorrow and we'l see if the promise is kept.

Dell, having to compete against Gateway & Compaq operates on low profit margines(compared to Alienware etc.), it makes me wonder how they can pay for a residential delivery of a box, pickup and return service just to make you happy about your keyboard.
Thats not cheap to do so it sounds like excellent customer service. =)

Well I'm hoping that it is. didn't get my notebook back yet so who knows. I bought from DELL specifically for the Customer care as this lappy is for work. Hope I don';t have to wait too long.
:( I need this back ASAP!. I hope that tommorrow it gets here.

Well it's Thursday and I got my laptop back today! yah! I'm impressed about the 4 working days turn around. Rox in my opinion.

Wow, I am super impressed man. I wish my VPR Matrix laptop was taken care of like that.
