I've heard there are VPR Customer Service Representatives on this board. This is a question addressed to them mainly, but anyone's input is welcomed.

I bought a 185A5 2 weeks ago. I have tried the internal wifi card at a couple of different places. I actually got it to work once, but I was sitting 2 feet away from the access point. Even then, it would drop the connection in intervals ranging from 40 seconds to 15 minutes. Should I contact VPR for a miniPCI replacement, a PCMCIA replacement, or is there some setting I'm just not doing right.

I have checked the "switch" on the side. I have tried multiple drivers. I have downloaded the utility from VPR's website. I'm at a loss. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nick,

I would read through some of these threads. There are reports of a couple readers calling into VPR Matrix with the same complaint. Apparently VPR Matrix is sending out a PCMCIA 802.11b wireless networking cards to those that are having problems. You may want to call their tech support and see if you can get the same thing.
