Well, its old news, that Sony said they would buy PalmSource if the chance came up.
Which brings the question. Is this a good or bad thing?
Sony would be able to bring A LOT of money into the PalmOS. Problem is, Sony is A LOT like Microsoft (the difference between Sony and Microsoft is that Sony makes good products ;)). - and would this attempt to force Sony's proprietary stuff (Memory Stick, etc...). But you never know, Sony is usualy only a ***** when it comes to MP3 (because Sony Electronics kicks ass, but Sony Music sucks ass).
I suppose in the end Sony buying Palm, for me, wouldnt be a bad thing. I have been Sonytized for a good 5 years now, and I dont mind paying the "extra-money" for Sony products, because I know I am getting "extra" quality... (save for that 512mb MSPro for $548, WTF IS THAT!, thats more than my PDA was! GOD!)... anyways....
