I just upgraded my VPR to XP Pro. Now I have a useless XP Home CD which came with the PC. I'd love to be able to upgrade another PC currently running Win 98 using this disk. I'm assuming this is legal since I upgraded. Does anyone know if it will work?

Actually, I believe it is illegal. I think you're supposed to use your WinXP copy only for your vpr notebook. Also, I'm betting it uses a copy-protection scheme that allows you to install the XP copy only on VPR computers, even if you manage to extract from the CD.
If your win98 copy is working fine, don't bother upgrading to XP unless you need some specific features in XP. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
