So has anyone tried this new OS yet? Is it basically a completed version of OSX?

Well, I have had it installed on every one of my macs since the day it came out. I have to say that I have been impressed with most of the changes, and disappointed with others.
I just want to say...
I have been an Apple developer for the last 5 years, and was one of the first ones to get my hands on the Beta version. That was an an incomplete, slow OS that normal users were advised to stay away from, BUT when OS 10.1 came out I advised everyone I knew to switch.
Version 10. 2 of MacOSX adds many improvments to the graphics performance, an integrated AIM client, increased network functionality, blah, blah, blah. I am not an apple rep, please refer to the following link to see all the new features.Apple Computing (http://www.apple.com/macosx/)
I will say that my graphics Have improved, AND I use iChat everyday instead of the AIM client, The feature I am enjoying the most is actually the upgrade of the networking component. I work in a networked enviroment surrounded by PCs that log to the MicroSoft Domain. I can now do the same thing without having to think about it. YES, I was able to do this before, but not without having to know the correct command to type into the "connect to server" dialog.
I am also REALLY enjoying the updates they made to the Kernal. As you already know OSX has a FreeBSD Kernal. 10.2 comes with the updated GCC compiler as well as the updated tc shell (tcsh). Even though I installed and use the bash shell. The terminal application was also updated to include a split window function, which I have found to be very useful.
Not everything is rosy though, some changes are annoying. Like no matter what, it does not remember the last user when logging in. Retyping your username everytime gets a little tedious.
No time now to go any further, but I have to say that OVERALL, I have to give this upgrade a big thumbs up.

Sounds like OS X is moving along nicely. I still wish that one day they would release it for the x86. I would then switch from windows.

Yeah, I have to admit that I too would switch to the OS if they released it for x86. In fact, I would even pay to switch (something I haven't done since win95)
Oh..i would willing pay to switch.. Most definately.
