I have thought about getting the new electric/gas hybrid Honda Civic. It looks just like the regular Honda which is what I like. I cannot stand the Honda Insight, I think it is way too ugly.

The american mindset to big ass suv's (size of houses) has to be changed to more that of europe and the rest of the world where people drive smaller more efficent cars. Market forces will eventually cause us to find something different. My dad the geologist says within the next 50 we are going to get into a kind of trouble that invading another country to "liberate" them isn't going to solve. Out of gas, is out of gas. Then what happens? 1/4 of the population dies because we can't produce / ship enough food for everyone?
Hydrogen may be a good idea, but there are a lot of problems to be worked out. Remember the friggin hindenburg?
