I thought that these guys seemed somewhat upset at being in the dog house, So I am setting up a new thread for people to post good experiences with Xoxide. Behold the Xoxide Happy Thread! :) The rules are thus:
Spam away, but be aware that I am watching. There is to be no Names other than user names and no posting of addresses or phone numbers of anyone other than your own if you need the attention that badly. If there is name calling and other behavour that is deemed inappropriate, than it WILL be deleted in it's entirety. Period. Anyone may post who is registered and follows these simple guidelines. We would like all forum users to be as comfortable as possible as a site. Thank you for your cooperation. HAND :)

Didn't you read the dog house thread abotu Xoxide? They are PAYING people to post good comments. Reseller Ratings cannot be trusted. Bizrate is much better.
Or you can just use Designtechnica's new reseller rating forum which I trust.

I've never really ordered from them, so I couldn't tell you any experiences. They never really had any modding stuff that I was really interested in, and when they did offer something, it was a lil more expensive than some other mod sites I've ordered from

it is implied. If I gave Xoxide a 0 on everything, would you be willing to give me a free item?

Of course it is implied. That took alot of thought to dechiper out of the coupon. But they are still willing to give you a coupon even with a 0 rating on everything. The main motivation lies in making people who have already purchased and happy with it share their results, not to force people to act happy about the company. I believe that is more than implied.

Exactly. People need to stay away from scams like this. The first time a company asks me to post or do something for them in exchange for something of value, I would have to ask myself what the consequences of my actions are. In this case the consumer is being "paid" to possibly decieve other consumers which could potentially be taken advantage of by Xoxide.
Do other companies do this? Probably, but it doesn't make it right. In this case we KNOW Xoxide is, which is why we are warning our fellow friends.

Cloud, have you even had any experiences with them or do you just feel the need to bash the site preemptively? I’ve rated xoxide poorly and still gotten the points for rating them. I was rating xoxide before their xoxide rewards program started, and the introduction of it hasn’t swayed me either way. Another thing to consider that I’m sure most of you have simply overlooked is that you get a whopping 3 x points (25 needed to redeem a $25 gift certificate) per rating. And since you can only rate once per order, its going to take 9 orders to get that $25. What moron would order 9 times from a company (if it was as bad as you claim it is) just to get $25 worth of stuff? The time alone wouldn’t be worth it.
Odd how the same 3 people are upset with Xoxide here, and 2/3 which haven't even ordered from Xoxide to see how great they really are.
hey, i thought this was the happy thread...

Actually I had nothing against Xoxide and didn't even know who they were until Chris the owner and his forum fans started posting in here. Once I saw the rude comments and immature actions, I came to the conclusion that they are just bad people. I also read Ioman's post about bad customer service and a bad BBB rating and it appears to be true. I am not about to take a risk with my money to see if they "ship on time". The owner and his forum buddies have convinced me of that. Sorry.

So you just blindly follow into the fray you know nothing about? Good work there cloud, it seems you have absolutely no basis on which to call them a bad company. From 6 orders with them I've had a mixed bag of experiences. There were a few problems yes, but their forums are one of the best customer care places I've ever seen. I was contacted and helped within a day and everything was resolved. Regardless of what the reseller ratings are, why do we only see a few complaints out of the 20,000 orders? I'd have to say this site has ruined its reputation by making unwarrented complaints against xoxide.

this site simply had a thread on discussing companies. Xoxide turned these theads into a disgrace. Frankly, I will never shop with Xoxide simply because they all seem like a bunch of asses.
Now then, why not stop *****ing, and let this forum become customer-experience--centric again.

**Look! It's yoshio entering the "fray"**
My (limited) experience with Xoxide has been positive. I found something (Cold Cathode)I wanted at a decent price and they sent it to me well-packaged and in a reasonable amount of time. That's what they promised when I bought it and that's what they delivered. As far as I'm concerned I have no problem with the fellas over there. Cripes I hope that a few unhappy people don't crush them because they have a store that a lot of PC modders/enthusiasts like shopping at. No store, online or brick and mortar, will ever be perfect.
I really hope things simmer down here, I don't want to bother with monitoring (I'm not alone, I know) all the crap (from both parties) that has gone down today. Please try to act like mature adults, even if you are not...I find your opinions much more respectable if you conduct yourself in a reputable and professional manner, even if the chatter is just on some message board on the big 'ole interweb.
I'm done.
