I'm just currious what is more popular in this forum, please weigh in with thoughts and opinions on each!

PPCs- took an early lead with multimedia, early models contained intigrated mp3 capabilities and could play back small movie clips. I found that I liked the Windows CE operating systems better that the early Palm OS. There was just more that you can do with a PPC.

but now...

Palms- Palm os devices seem to be catching up with the Windows CE devices, I found that alot of the features seem to even surpass PPCs in some cases (Sony NZ-90). I'm actually looking in to buying that model unless you can convince me not too!:D

I've used both, but I've been more of a palm user in the past; as I just recently purchased a pocket pc.

At first the biggest thing that threw me towrads the pocket pc devices was the multimedia capabilities; but as you said earlier palm is starting to catch up.

I'll tell you what though, you can't beat the price of the Dell Axims. So price was a big factor for me, I wanted to get the most bang for my buck so to speak.

I'm happy I moved to pocket pc, but not saying anything is wrong with the palm os platform, as it has served me well.

I never got the hang of Graffiti. I prefer PocketPC OS because I "feel" it is more compatible with my computer.

I get that same "feel" as well...but on the other hand, I personally liked graffitti. It's my bag :)

Yeah, I know what you guys mean about that feeling, but have you seen windows PE for palm devices? Check this out! Palm can be more windowy than of the windows Ce devices out there!

I understand that there are a lot of blue screens in it, but hey, you'll feel more like your at your desktop:D
