heh... I'm actually looking at getting the AIW Radeon 9000 Pro in my next machine. I just don't have the need for yet another FireWire controller, mostly connected to the AGP bus :)
Also, I believe all of the AIW post 8500 DV/8500 128MB have the GPU running at the same speed as the retail non-AIW cards, thus eliminating some of the speed disparities between the AIW and it's non-AIW sibling.
So far, none of nVidia's attempt to mimic the AIW has impressed me, mostly because most of them have been somewhat tethered to the MX series (though there is one or two versions tethered with non-GF4 MX cards) but both the 2D image quality via VGA and the overall video capture feature just don't seem to be that great.
