I read a small review of this in the new Maxim. I pulled this off the FAQ:

7. What are the key features of the Nokia N-Gage game deck?
It is a high-quality, interactive mobile gaming device with excellent phone features. It has gaming optimized functionalities and design including Bluetooth, which enables local multiplayer gaming, and GPRS, which offers the possibility for gaming over a wide area network. There will also be a catalogue of branded, high quality games. Other key features include: a large color screen (176x208 pixels with 4096 colors), a digital music player (AAC/MP3 files) and a stereo FM radio, Nokia Audio Manager PC software for managing music files, and an easy-to-use user interface, a comprehensive range of applications including personal information management tools, email, XHTML browsing, and multimedia messaging (MMS).

I really like this idea of merging gaming and music into a phone. Now if they only threw in digital camera functionality, even as an add on, I would get in line for one right now.

More importantly, what do you guys think?

I think it is a great idea. I know that Sega, EIDOS, THQ and some other software developers are already creating games for it which is cool. I think the price is incredibly high if you ask me, especially for who will most likely be purchasing it; high schoolers. I wonder what they battery life is on the N-Gage as well. With all of those functions I am sure it will not last long. Also do you need to wear a headset when using it as a phone?
