I called VPR for problems with keyboard and yes, the LCD bezel on my 200A5. They sent me a box 3 days later (I called them on Friday) on Monday. I send my notebook back, and three days later, they sent back. I must say this that I am very impressed. They returned it to me looking almost new. And it functions the same as the last time I used it before I sent for repair.

I must say this that I am impressed with VPR Matrix service and I'm looking forwad to it. Never EVER send your notebook to Best Buy. Those idiots told me they have to send it to 'their' service center and it will take at least a month. What a jerk. Don't count on them. Call 1-800-332-4800 option 7. They pick up the call really quickly.

Well i just got my laptop back from services center. Don't know where is come back from? because i let best buy take care my problem. I paid the extended service.

Funny think that I got the laptop back with some repair explaination : wrong software install, reload os and test passed.

I know this is a lie message. I know the failure. Heat problem is killing some component. I expect is the ram is dead. Because i check the system and it show 384m instead of 512M. I think the technician it get train to modified the report of failure. Well some wrong program is not fault of vprmatrix. hehehe
that is ok for me. But it would be nice to be honest with customer
You can not blem a hardware problem vs software problem.
384M ram show on the status and tell customer that is software problem. Yes i believe it. hehehe
to bad i'm build at least 50 computer by myself and i never see any problem like that. I see myself a memory stick almost dead it show half of capacity. 2 days later is completed dead.
any ways i'm impress with their promise, they return my laptop before dead line promise (2 weeks)

vanln1:

Sounds like your experience is with Best Buy service, not VPR service. I would recommend you send your laptop directly to VPR for service - they may re-install your OS, but they will most likely fix your problem and not provide nonsense answers like Best Buy's service does. I've been very happy with VPR's direct service.

Good luck,

As I said in another post.
I prefer to deal with the MAKER, not the guy that SOLD it to me. Extended warrenty is good, AFTER the original has expired, then you have to deal with seller, most times. But, if you contact the Maker, they sometimes have there OWN extended warrenty.
