What's the difference between.....a sun roof and a moon roof?

Actually, I think there is a difference. I think a moon roof does not let you see through it I.E. no glass, but will open nonetheless, where the sunroof is see through. That is my understanding anyways lol.:dunno

The moon roof is larger then a sunroof. Moon roof usually extends beyond the front seats. Most cars dont have them anymore.

sun roofs can be small, and are generally Solid colored. You dont want the WHOLE sun, and open only a little.
Moon roof, are generally Clear, and can be opened completely. so you can look at the stars.

But, the names are used interchangably. Know what you want and tell them.
