"Continuing to broaden the Nintendo GameCube library, Konami and Nintendo today announced Konami will publish a new Metal Gear adventure exclusive for Nintendo GameCube. Metal Gear Solid The Twin Snakes combines the thrilling story of the original Metal Gear Solid game with the jaw-dropping graphics and unparalleled gameplay found in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. The game is scheduled to ship later this year in North America and Europe, followed by the Japanese launch in early 2004. "

Neither have I... of course, it's never been a type of game that I'm really that interested in.
I'll stick with the older games on the NES and Super NES :)

I love how game manufacturers are recycling the same games on different systems. If they released the game all at once across all platforms, I wouldn't mind, but spacing this out make me think they are being greedy.

Then there are those that make minor tweaks to the different versions for the different platforms (like special extras or special characters) that entice people to buy more than one version of the game.
Of course, the lamest attempt (in my POV) is when EA released two completely different versions of Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2, one for the PS2 and one for the GC/XBOX/PC. The former is a great game whereas the latter version isn't that great. So my friend and I have call doing something like that, "pulling an EA" :D
