I think the PCI 10/100 NIC card most people say handles overclocking the PCI bus the best is the Linksys. (?) Is the D-Link as good? Which chipsets do they use?

If by chipsets you mean ASIC controller, then it's one of their own design, as does Linksys I believe. Don't know if one is better handling OCing than another, but whatever you do, don't get any NIC with a Realtek controller, as they are POS.

As for controllers, Intel is regarded as making one of the best in the business.
