I have recently been in the market for a subwoofer to add to my system which includes Paradigm Monitor 9's, ADP 370's, and CC-370. I recently auditioned the PW2200 from Paradigm and the B&W ASW650 at two separate stores and I seem to like both of the subs. The PW2200 runs $150 more than the ASW650 and definitely shows some advantages with power & depth but both sound good for sub-$1000 subwoofers. If anyone has had any experiences with either of these subs, I would like to hear your feedback, especially if you have compared them.
In addition, I am currently living in an apartment and I wonder if there is any methods (other than "off") that I can use to not enrage my neighbors when I use one of the above subs. I want to be able to use it in my system without feeling I wasted my money, meaning I use it at a super low level. Your advice is greatly appreciated.
