I'm looking at the specs of the S26 and S36 and they have me really confused! These two are basically the same price at most online stores. The specs say the S36 is HALF the weight of the 26! (11 vs 22 lbs!) The 36 also says it's only 5" deep vs the 26 being almost 10" deep!
Can someone explain these things to me, and comment on any build/quality/sound differences between the two? It all seems counter intuitive. I'm looking at them for my rear speakers, and thought I'd go with the 26's because I'll probably have to hang them or wall shelf them, so I wanted smaller and lighter, but that doesn't seem to be the case, and for the price, why not go with the 3 way?
