While I like the new vindisco better than discoteck, I am not too sure about my new avatar. I had deleted the background from this picture a while back in PS thinking I could stick him on someone else's head as a joke. He might be a little to weird for me. I am not sure, so I thought that I should ask my piers.
While the new forums has it's advantages there are little nusances that are driving me crazy. Like not being able to upload a custom avatar that is more than 20000 Bytes. That is only 20 K B for the lazy folks. What this means is that basically you can't have anything animated anymore.
So let me know what ya think!

That looks ok, it would be nice to get the SWIRALs off it...
And can you animate the DUCK...

It was the plastic wrap filter in Photoshop. I did it so that I could say that at least it wasn't the same exact copy of what I pulled off the net w/o permission.
Maybe I will play around with some other filters and see how I like them. This thread can be the cool avatar thread :) cause I don't think you are going to like any of them. :P Youre just trying to give me a hard time, I can tell. hahahah
I can't animate cause the settings on the avatar file size is too small to animate. I would end up with a 5 pixel x 5 pixel image that would just suck. Of course if flashfire or Ioman could increase the Avatar file size then it would be a different story.
Don tknow if this trick will work...try it..
Do a 3D render on the PIC... It should go BW..
Then Overlay you pic on it for the colors, DONT use opac(?) solid colors.. It will give a 3D effect..

That looks cool too ECA. How did you make it? It looks like you played with the Brightness / Contrast. Don't give everyone too many choices :P Is that what you were talking about before?
Just used PSP, and gave it a bit of a 3D look..
Could do a swirl effect, and place the Duck on top..

VIP has mentioned that he thinks the Disco Duck button comes from an old Rick Dee's song. I don't remember where I got it from but it is quite possible that this pictures exists because of his song.

Still not very many votes. I think people are to busy or something. I haven't changed it yet, but have been thinking about making a little picture of one of the images so that I can use that now instead. Maybe I will just end up doing a custom design from scratch that ties in my username.
I am still looking forward to disco creations that you like. :)

Yes, I collect disability for a reason, many in fact, one of which is I couldn't figure out how to view your avatar choices so I voted for "I don't care, just choose one!" but I was able to find the thread & post a reply so there's hope, maybe... Now as to whether that's a good thing, who knows? Only time will tell.

That is a description that I would use to describe myself. I need to become skilled in one trade if I am going to go anywhere. My BS degree wasn't much help. A Jack of All trades usually can get by, but it is harder for them to excel because the knowledge isn't as firmly cemented, getting mixed up with other ideas and thoughts. Then there is the danger of specializing too much and your skils becoming outdated or the market for your skills becomes saturated. In either case it would be harder for this type of person to retrain themselves. I think the key is to find the balance in things, never forgetting to be flexible in life, never loosing the desire to learn new things.
I liked the movie "Gremlins" and I like your Avatar now that you have explained it.

Waay to tell him v8juice. Lets not get too much off the subject eh :) Althought it was nice of ECA to list a description of all his abilities. LOL
I changed it yet again to a little ant dude I found somewhere. I kinda like him so I might just use him for a while. I was getting sick of the whole disco duck thing. Who knows I might try one of the logo's I made one of these days. ;)

Wolverine is a good nickname that I like! :D I haven't gotten sick of the avatar, I really like it also.
