View Full Version : Help slimx350 doesnt turn on!!?!?!?!?!!

I need help with my 350 ive had it for about a year but its been sitting around the house for about 3month collecting dust. Im going on a road trip soon so I decide to try it again when I try to turn it on nothing. It directly connected to the dc plug but still no power i tried the internal batteries no go. I tried external batteries nothing. PLz help with this I paid 150 for this thing I was hoping it would last longer than year. Anyone help!!!!

hmmm I would still try getting replacement batteries. It sounds like the internal power supply is not working. Can you send it in for repair?

Ioman thx for the advice. Where can i send it for repairs? I opened it and a resistor is burned out for some reason I have no idea why. It kinda sucks alot it cost me 150 and only last me 1 year. It was a great product but it just crapped out on me.

Would be a shame if you were to get a new one from a local dealer and THAT one were to have the same problem. And then yougo to return it, and when you get home afterwards, you find you accidentally switched teh new and old ones and were left with a working slimX. I know I would feel bad....

They didnt ask for prof of purchase or anything else. Everything they ask for was the player and a return address its freaking great. Hooray for Iriver support!!
