A great everyday mobile phone—designed with the smaller, narrower look and feel of a mobile phone

Fast Palm OS 5 organizer running on an ARM processor

Fully-integrated QWERTY keyboard—optimized for this amazingly compact device—makes dialing the phone or typing email and messages easier than ever

New web browser that allows you to surf any web site—including JavaScript enabled sites—and even download software

Built-in digital camera so you can take and send pictures in an instant or connect a face to a phone number with picture caller ID

Built-in SD/MMC expansion slot for adding memory, content or hardware (supports SD I/O)

Five-way navigation for optimal one-handed use

Improved battery life for longer talk time and standby time

Bright color display that provides great readability both indoors and out
These new Treo 600 smartphones will be priced at a premium compared to our current Treo line, and are expected to begin shipping late this fall. At that time, we plan to offer a special upgrade program for existing Treo owners.

I like the size of the phone, mostly compared to the O2/T-Mobile Pocket PC PDA/XDA phone and some of the other PDA/cell phone cross-breeds, as well as the layout.

I don't mind it not having a flip-cover (as some other people have complained about the lack of already) so long as there is a good case available for it.

The only thing that turns me off from it is the cost (as usual)... though if a (decent) carrier is able to sell it for $200-250 with a 1-year contract then I would consider it affordable for me. I don't mind it not being based on Pocket PC or Windows CE for Smartphone (thank goodness) though Symbian OS is looking fairly good too :)

I think the size is way too smal and the keys look super tiny on it, to the point that they will be pretty useless.

Once it's available in stores here, I'll check it out... but I doubt if I'll be getting one anyway. I just don't have the need to have wireless (cell) Internet access, even if it's $30/month for unlimited use... it's yet another bill to add to my already large pile of bills.

I agree with ya man...but it definitely is sexier looking than other models.
Really interested in seeing what price range this thing is going to enter at
