archos av300 series?

I would seriously consider it if i did'nt have a nomad zen already. It seems to be able to do it all: MP3, video record/capture/playback, FM Radio, Picture Viewer, and file storage. The huge display looks great as well? $500ish does not seem that bad for all it does... av320 is sweet.

yeah Birdie rocks, street fighter original fighter props from the england stage (birdie and eagle)... but i think the avatar animation is from a later game mutation.

does archos have a bad rep?.. the all in one portable media gadget really is a great idea (imagine if your ipod could record and playback stuff off the tv).

I personally think their products are cool, but their designs are kinda out there. Sleek and sexy is not what I would describe them.

Archos never really seems to push their products that hard if you ask me.

I'm kinda excited about this product myself. And yes, I've considered possibilities of me getting it ;)

But as far as their design goes, I never liked the design of their products BEFORE the AV300. This one actually has some decent looks to it and doesnt have that chunky look to it.

~$500 is definitely steep, but as vladmin said, for what it does it is probably worth it.
