I'll vote yes. I'm curious about Apple products, but I've always used Sony because I was more familiar with their product and the OS.

We had a Sony forum, but no one was posting in there for some reason so we closed it. I hope the Apple forum doesn't wind up the same way.

I'm going to vote yes as well..
I don't currently own a Mac, and I use to tell myself I would never use one...but recently I've seen some future possibilities of having one :)
Anyways a *certain someone* uses a mac...so I think she's rubbing off on me lol. Plus they were using them on the show "24" lol.

Although I am curious about Apple products, I doubt that I would spend much time there.
I'll leave the poll for a bit long, not enough votes.

I guess my question is this about Apple products: Are they worth the inflated prices when compared to other brands? I am talking about laptop models, not desktop models. I've played around on some of their products in CompUSA but they have a totally different feel to them.
Ioman I noticed in your post you said you had one. Which one is it? Also, what programs do you have installed on your Apple product?

How about if we try and get Apple products to review, then we can throw up an Apple forum.

Let me ask people this: Is there a reason NOT to have an Apple dedicated forum?

I do not own an Apple and may not participate, but it would be interesting to read. From that perspective, having an Apple forum would be fine IMO.

I'll vote yes. I've worked on both Windows and Mac PCs (as well as UNIX) but have stayed with PCs primarily due to my heavy software investment. Compatibility isn't a complete issue because I deal with as many Mac clients as Windows clients.
My big desire to know about Macs is from a real-world performance standpoint. My primary operating environment is for Web, Print and Graphic design - so things like Photoshop, Illustrator, Pagemaker, etc. But I also ahve begun to dabble in DVD production.
So, for example, does a dual processor G5 with 2GB RAM perform at such levels that justify switching my entire environment when I'm currently running on a Dell Precision 530 with dual 2.2Ghz Xeons and 2GB RAM and all 15K RPM SCSI drives? And then having to replace all my software?
My "smart" brain says No. But the "creative" design side of the brain is just so damn tempted by anything designed by Apple. Case in point: 23" Cinema Display...Oh oh oh...

I don't see a reason it "could hurt" us to have an Apple Forum.
Could attract new users as well.
It would also be nice to see more votes though too
Ok, Ioman's suggesting is a good one I think.
