help my ATI 9500

I just got a red PCB ATI 9500 128MB video card.
While I run my system for a period time, the screen would keep refresh. and the screen would have more and more vertical or horizontal lines after refreshing.
Is it the over-heat problem?
or what problem is that and how to solve it?

i had the exact same problem.. after having gone through
all that was discussed in that thread. i called the support
team of the company that sold me my ati radeon 9500 card
and was told that it most likely was an error with the onboard
memory, whereupon he told me to return the card and they
would send me a new one.
