I'm not really sure if this is the appropriate place to post this, so feel free to move this post, but I just wanted to know if any has any clue as to when Sony is going to start shipping the TR1A.

I ordered one off of Amazon.com, but they seem to be really unsure as to when it's set to arrive. I know on SonyStyle.com, the date has been pushed back to July 27th from the original 11th due to huge demand.

I need to get mine prior to August 20th, when I move to CA. So yeah, any info would be helpful.

Okay, so I just registered... but I forgot to add a few points of information:

On Amazon.com's "Track Your Orders" page, it says that the shipping date is July 7th, 2004 , which makes no sense to me. So I emailed them, and then they said that it would take from 4-6 weeks. I was then confused by the contradicting pieces of information, so I emailed them AGAIN for further clarification, and then they said that it would be ready by the listed shipping date (July 2004)...

So now I have no clue what's going on...

So again, any info would be helpful... Perhaps other places where I could purchase it?

Thanks for the info.

As I began searching at some of the sites Ioman pointed out, I began wondering if any of those "smaller" online stores would really have something in stock that Amazon.com would not...

So then I got even more confused, so at this point, my order with Amazon.com still stands..

We'll see what happens, I guess.... If anyone has purchased this same laptop and has received it, I would love to know where you went through.....

I should have it coming in for review today or tomorrow. I will try and have the review posted early next week if you want to hold off to see the review before purchasing.
