So, I was bored and went to the local Microcenter to get some sort of new toy. I ended up actually BUYING a mousepad. It looks great, doesn't slip at all, and has an excellent surface. It's the Allsop Metal Art Mousepad, and I think it may have been discontinued, but if you find one, take a look. It has a really interesting texture, and is probably the most stylish mousepad I've seen. They're great!

I like that.
There's always time, room, and money for a new mousepad especially if it offers a lil bit of flare or style.
Have you seen this in any other stores? We don't have one of those microcenters around here:P
i never have room on my desk for a mouse pad..seriously. I dont use one at work either. has anyone tried the rat pads?

I've got a ratpad and can't say enough good things about it. Built of high impact plastic with a textured surface. Has a ton a rubber feet for a no-slip grip and is dishwasher safe. I noticed a large improvement with precision (headshots:D ) aiming after I got used to it. Can't remember what I paid for it...maybe like 18$?

I'm really not sure where else to find it. I was looking for some info on it after I bought it, and it was really hard to find anything.
The thing is basically a brushed metal tile with an inner tough surface, which is not metal, (no idea what it is. Some kind of plastic probably). The bottom is coated with a soft rubber shelf liner type material. It doesn't slip at all.

I use a generic ASAOP cloth mousepad. I find that the cloth pads work best for me and gaming.

I am in a gaming clan which competes on a North American ladder with 70 clans and over 5K people. www.nato-ladder.com
we are currently in 2nd place out of 50 active clans and play a game called Tactical Ops. It is like Counter strike but much faster and more arcade like.
I am also playing a lot of Dungeon Siege right now.

goin on 3 years old, MW4 Mercs is going on 1 year old though (come November). But on the same note, you can say that Tactical Ops is a mod for UT, which is 4 years old.

Actually Tactical Ops is a not a mod, but a full game which you can buy and is less than a year old. Although the engine its based off of is the original UT engine which is pretty old.

All of this talk of gaming makes me sorta want to play more games than I do.
I just really haven't found any that I like...and when I do, I can't stick with it but more than a week :(
*sigh* oh well
