Personally I purchase more music now that I use file sharing. I'm a student with not a lot of disposable income so when I make the purchase of a CD I like to be sure that I damn well like it. Also a survey I read about (sorry, can't remember the exact source) said that of those polled 80% of people who do file sharing purchase as much or more music then they did when they didn't file share.
