Ive heard Bose sound cancelling headphones and wish i could pay $300 for them.

But i found a really cheap solution ;)

A pair of comfortable earmuffs you might find in your shop, and some good earbuds =D

awesome idea i know, cause it works very good
the other night there were 200 Harleys below my window at the ball park and i couldnt hear my music worth crap, until i slipped on the cheap earmuffs =)

Can you give us better instructions and maybe show some pictures? This looks interesting!

it was kinda meant as a joke but it really works.
I was using it at work when using a saw, i heard nothing but music it was great.

Ive also put my RCA wireless phones over them so that when i'm playing a game with a teamspeak program i can listen to music and still hear that voice in the earbuds, or switch it around, be able to listen to the game in surround but still hear a little music which helps me play.
Does that make sense?

Did you know they have Ear muffs, as headsets, and radios, also..
They alittle expencive but worth it..

i've done the same thing, while i was sanding my deck.......i used my pair of modified koss plugs....(very good sound for 10 bucks......a bit bassy, though)......anyways...i could barely hear the sander, and my mom was mowing the lawn too, and i couldn't hear that either.......my "earmuffs" that i used are intended for shooting guns at the range.....but i use them for everyday around the shop, etc. hearing protection.....
