Hello ex-unlucky ones

Here is a tip for (radeon 9500 and 9700 owners):

When you failed to flash your radeon card with "atiflash" dont panic. You can still flash it blind!!!!!

Here is how to:

- Make a bootdisk on a other system and learn how to get to dos prompt a:\ , blindly!!! (cuzz you will have to do this blind on you system with the not working radeon card).

- Get the flashprogram, "Flashrom" from the internet here :
http://www.3dchipset.com/bios/ati/flash/index.php

-Copy the Flashrom.exe , the dos4gw.exe and the flashrom.rom files to the bootdisk

- Get the bios you like to flash in to your card from the internet (look on the internet for a (or THE) good on????) here :
http://www.3dchipset.com/bios/index.php

(for club3d 9700 non pro owners there is a 97npwarp.bin out there witch is verry good. I use it on my radeon 9700np with infineon 3.6)

- Copy the bin file ("biosname.bin") to the bootdisk

- Know you are ready to boot your system with the disk

- When you think you are at dos promt (or when the disk stops loading) type :
flashrom -s 0 old.bin

to save your old bios as old.bin (if you still have one)

- When the disk stops loading type:
flashrom -p 0 yourbiosname.bin

this will load the new bios in to the card.

- When the disk stops loading press reset or ctrl-alt-del to reboot your system and enjoi your post screen

Thanks to all knowitall's who provided the info in the many forums. And ofcours thanks to all biosmakers and flashrom programmers, cuzz this wasnt my knowledge first.

I hope all you modders, flashers nd overclockers are happy with this thread, cuzz i would have bin when my bios failed.

Ps. This is info for al radeon tweakers when atiflash fails.
