We just posted a player of this memory based MP3 player. Looks like a pretty solid player for the price. 256MB is still a lot of storage capacity for a player this small.

whats with the lack of usb 2.0 support on all these players?
it takes a full hour to load 256mb on one of these things, totaly ridiculous.

This MP3 player reminds me a lot of the MPIO DMK you guys reviewed here a while ago. I wonder how the sizes between the two compare?

I noticed this too. It must have something to do with the chipset inside. Most of the jukebox players support usb 2.0, but none of the older style solid state MP3 players do. 256MB is getting way up there in storage space I think.

Ive had an Mpio-dmk for over a year, i loved it to death =X
128mb storage was enough for a couple dozen songs and the player was so small/lightweight you forgot about it, this new player looks like it sacrifices that for larger storage =\
...I think i'll wait til they improve on the dmk
