Fried Hard Drive [Archive]

Anyone know how to replace a hardrive in the Zen 20GB (USB/FireWire)? This is the second drive to freeze up on me. The first one was sent back and a re-furbished one sent to me. Now the second one has crashed. HELP!!!

Hey Mike... Despair not... Click on the URL below and it will show you how to replace your hard drive step by step... I would recommend buying a 40 or 60 gb one from ebay... if u are upgrading your hard drive....

Did they replace the drive for you or send you a new drive to have yourself replace it with? I would rather send my unit in to them and have them fix it than have them send me the hard drive.

Anyone know if it matters whether my Zen is Firewire or USB 2.0
as far as choosing a replacement 2.5" hard drive? I want to purchase a new hard Drive ASAP to replace (and void my warrenty!) my fried drive.
