Zen OR Zen NX

Just wishing for some opinions...

In Toronto I can get a ZEN 20 gig for the same price as a ZEN NX 30 gig. I've only got about 10 gig of mp3's so the HD space isn't really an issue. Thanks for any input!

I also have the Zen NX 30 gig and love it. The sound quality is great.

The only way the original Zen is better is the transfer rate. It has firewire, which is by far, the fastest.

For me, it doesn't really matter.

The NX is smaller, newer and has a replacable battery.

It seems that the newer NX is the one to go with.

Is there anything in particular that stands out about the older Zen that makes you even consider getting it over the new NX?

Not quite true. USB 2 clocks at about 480Mb/s Firewire 400 does 400Mb/s
