How is the Greek government supposed to find out who is playing games?
This is totally insane! Why are they banning electronic games? And with a jail term if you are caught playing???

That's why i don't live there. Well, that and my speaking only english.
It's not just computer games, but any type of electronic game. We are talking about Cell Phones, Game Boys, Etc.
If you bring a device into the country, like a Cell Phone or PDA, you can be arrested and sent to jail for it.
Really stupid.

They say it is to stop electronic gambling. This doesn't seem like a very good way to go about things. Fine the service providers, make them block the sites. It seems that they do not have very good IT people in Greece. The fact that they have made this decision is probably a good indication of how many people in greece actually play electronic video games.
Oh I did the conversion, it comes out to 40,000.00 GBP

United States Dollars. I am pretty sure that the L with a slash in it is the pound! :)
