View Full Version : Advice on Getting Repairs

Well, my 200a5 finally needs some repair. It's my own fault - the machine fell and a mouse attached to a USB port caused the port to get totally wrecked. Otherwise, the machine is OK.

I've dealt with BB, and I've dealt directly with VPR on the phone, and based on the things I've read in this forum, I feel like calling VPR before I walk into a BB. I do have an extended warranty, but am afraid it does not cover acts of stupidy.

Any advice on how to proceed - or any more repair stories out there? Any info is appreciated.

Thanks,

Jim

share with us the results...I broke the little plastic clips on my usb ports as well...but luckily i can still use the ports....i'd probably just directly deal with VPR

that's going to be difficult to justify. but i'd say that you havre some usb device attached and it became stuck .. blah blah.. and when you tried to remove it, the port came loose blah blah blah..

good luck.
