Dear Guys,

I bought vprMatrix 180R Desktop about a year ago. This one has 'NEC NR-9200A' CDRW. I was looking for new firmware for this drive, and found the file encoded in japanese, 'cdrwab40_f100.exe'. I could decompress this file with WinRAR, and got 'necnr92v203.exe (1003KB)'.

I'm absolutely sure that this .exe file is Firmware updater, because file itself can recognize my CDRW. But this file just keeps showing me the error messege saying 'Incorrect file'.

Is there anybody who actually update your firmware for this drive? Please let me know.

Thanks,
BH

P.S.
I found bunch of other guys having the same problem with me in some CDRW boards all around the world. NEC USA support guy said I had to contact vprMatrix, but I think that making updated firmware and distributing it should be NEC's job. Anyway, I wil wait for a couple of days to see how other guys handled this situation.
