Hi everyone,

I've had my 220A5 for about two weeks now, and i think it's a great notebook for the price i paid. I've encountered a problem, though.

I've hooke up my MS intellimouse through the USB port and works fine, but i want to increase the speed of the movement. However, when i go into the control panel to change the speed under the pointer option, it is greyed out. Does anyone know why it does this? Anyone with a solution?

Thanks

Ioman

I would go to Microsoft's website and download the latest drivers for your intellimouse, it could be greyed out because it is using your touchpad as the default mouse.

If you install Microsofts software it may override this.

BTW, welcome to the Designtechnica forums, please register so we can chat some more.

i have the exact problem. if you download ms's mouse driver, it will overrite an important mouse pad feature which is to disable your mouspad while you're typing. it gets very annoying while typing without this feature. so beware!
