So as I got a marketing call today regarding a congressman (I signed up for the National do-not call list, I guess It doesn't apply to congressman??) I got to thinking. If they have a national do not call list, why not start a national do-not spam list?

Same principles right??

I think that idea already went through the minds of the powers to be... i remember reading something about it a while back, but that they thought it was impossible to do the same thing since so much spam originates outside the US, among other reasons.

I would like regualations that say:

Subject line must say if its SPAM, Business, what the email IS.
REPLY line must work, and hitting REPLY and asking to be dropped, WILL WORK.

Just these 2, would make my life better.
