Slashdot has an article mentioning the successor to the SLIMP3 Player, the Squeezebox.
http://www.slimdevices.com/pi_overview.html
The new device has both analog and digital (Coax and SPDIF) audio output, Ethernet connectivity, and 802.11b WiFi connectivity.
The device supports Ogg Vorbis and FLAC files, but only when streamed as PCM or MP3-transcoded files (both of which require the host running the server software to do the decoding or transcoding).
The price for the new device is $299.
