I had a '93 Infiniti G20 lowered and all sweet interior and i added these pair of Blue LED's. They attach ( w/ rubber cement which rubs of w/ no damage) to any surface practicly. I had the only tricked out G20 in town and i only ever saw 1 other guy with these Blue LED's. People love them.
They hook into your cigarette lighter and the wires dissapear behind your dash(the center dash around your stereo, climate control etc.) The LED's are encased in silver tubes w/ black swivel bases, they turn in any direction.
Swivel up so your entire front seat glows blue while your downtown, or swivel them down so they light up your stereo and center area. Either way they are really slick. I love them but i had to sell my car and my next one wont be the type of car that i can use them.
Price is starting at $50, shipping is extra $5. This is a great deal i bought them for $90.
They are about to replace warning lights and tail lights with LEDS... You can buy them and replace them yourself.
They are bright(VERY) and even dirt dont cut down the brightness. They are cool to the touch, and LAST 11 years. Being made of plastics they dont break either.

YUP, they are much better. They also use less current than bulbs. Look for them to replace ALOT of our lighting in the future.
 ;) :( :) :o :P  :doh :doh

How many do you get in this package? That seems like alot of money for only a couple. I know that you can buy them for a couple of cents a piece from the right supply / optical parts places. It sure seems like it would be much cheaper and look alot better if you went out and built your own assembly. Then you wouldn't have to worry about wasting your cigraette lighter, cause you could run your own power off the jumper box / car battery.

there are 2, and the reason you would pay for them is because LED's werent hip yet at the time, they each have silver cases which pivots on a pad that you attach to your dash, i dont think you'd be able to create the same product by yourself. it is worth it though
They have alot of the Fixtures for Car lights already.
If I couldnt find a recepticle to work about the same I would look for one better.
Have you checked JC whitney..

I saw the LEDs in his car and they did look pretty cool. I would put them in the dash if I had them.
