Problems with Expedia.com

So I book a package flight+hotel using Expedia.com last and I notice that I messed up on my flight time home. It is scheduled for 11PM not AM. I called them this morning and the confirmed that there are earlier flights home available, but that they will need to charge me a $100 cancellation fee, plus refund my package (which takes 5-7 days) in which I would need to re-order everything.

I only saved about $20 by purchasing a package instead of airfare and hotel seperately. Do not make the same mistake I did. Now I am going to try and fly standby to get home earlier.

What a pain in the butt. Make sure you purchase your hotel and airfare seperately in case a mistake like this happens to you.

I just got a RT ticket to CO, and I saved $200 as opposed to going through the airline, so there are still some good savings there.

I feel your pain Ioman, last year I booked a flight for my fiance and myself to fly home and made the mistake of selecting the week before. I had to pay $100 a ticket to change it and then pay another $100 per ticket since the prices were higher. Lets just say I will never make that mistake again. Still think Expedia is a great place to get tickets though.
