Thats because you use your television you dingleberry!!

And a 250 Watt PSU is fine for a system like this. They probably went with a low power PSU so there is no excess noise from a huge fan. You need to make these type of systems super quiet.

If you go to ATI site they recomend a 300 w power supply for this card....

All this and no Network card, for highspeed internet.
Ya think 56K is enough.....DUH.
Anyone want to put this together as compnents and see what it costs? I think it would be Less then $1400, not counting software.
And, DVD +RW is not compatible with most DVD players. you want -RW.
As I mentioned before...250w PS.... NOT. This AINT a 486 or a Pentium 1.
No monitor comment goes like this. the system resets, it will default to MONITOR, not to TV. And at this price I want a GOOD Monitor.
