Battlestar Galactica

Hey Everyone!

Just wanted to know if anyone had a chance to see the new Battlestar Galactica mini-series on SciFi this evening.

I heard there were some questionable changes (e.g. Starbuck and Boomer are female) in it but people seem to like it so far.

Any thoughts?

Its playing multiple times per day. I would see about recording it.

I just finished watching part one, it seems like they are explaining the story in great detail, but things are moving rather slowly for a 4 hours movie.

Could this be the stage for a television series?

Man I had heard about that but forgot. I'm going to check listings for the next time it airs.

I LOVED that show when I was a kid. Those fighters were the coolest space ships IMHO.

I saw it last night. I enjoyed it. I'm a little confused because I saw the old Viper fighters and a museum type exhibition in the movie with the old Cylons. Does that mean that this story takes place years after the original series?
