Wow, look what I found. This is the largest Lego's ship they have ever made. For 16 years old and above.
You know I will have to buy this just to say I built it. My brother got me the large AT-ST Star Wars walker Lego set for Christmas. (I know, I am too old for this stuff) and it will be a ton of fun to build. Can't wait to get this one!

I wonder how many pieces it has.
Build the most awesome ship in the Star Wars™ universe!
Build the most awesome ship in the Star Wars™ universe!
The Imperial Star Destroyer™ is the massively huge, incredibly powerful heart of the Emperor's fleet. Manned by the top crew in the Imperial Navy, the Star Destroyer™ was heavily armored and bristling with turbolasers and tractor beam projectors. One Star Destroyer alone was enough to strike fear into an entire star system!
Now you can add the Imperial Navy's best-known and most powerful ship to your LEGO Star Wars™ collection! Measuring an impressive 37” by 23”, this model dwarfs any LEGO Star Wars™ ship ever produced. This beautifully designed and one-of-a-kind collector's item comes with a special display stand and collectors card. Also includes an exclusive Rebel Blockade Runner™ Mini-Model, so you can recreate the opening scenes of Star Wars IV: A New Hope!

haha I think it would be fun. Do people superglue the pieces together to preserve it? What do modelers do with Leogs?

Hehe thats wild...
I guess that won't be going in the tub with me...i'll stick with the rubber ducky :P
But I remember a long time ago someone was telling me that they sprayed something on their legos to help preserve them and help them stay together. I'm not sure about the whole superglue idea...
...although i heard duct tape would work real well:P

If you're an adult putting together a lego set and you will just be displaying, not playing with it, is some kind of glue really necessary to keep it intact. I'd think the Lego SNAP-ON TECHNOLOGY would suffice!

haha LOL Sinistar rules. You are probably right. I would be afraid moving it though from one room to another and having it crumble!

although now that I think about it, the bigger and heavier the piece is, the more the weaker parts could be a big problem...
it's been so long...
there is a spray adhesive that would probably work. My wife has used it to keep jigsaw puzzles together when she had her period when she was into them. Superglue would be a little extreme i think (plus, can't it melt the plastic?)
its about .05 per piece.
and yes there is a Spray acylic paint adhissive, works good to HOLD, not to make permanant.

I know i'm not the only one that had alot of lego experience, but i remember the older the legos got the worse they stuck together, those worn rounded corners made them fall apart easy.
the new ones were tough to pull apart once firmly together. so i think this thing would hold strong since its so large and heavy and wont be handled.
and most of us have gotten rid of the younger brother that steals the one piece you need to finish it. ha i can already hear Ian calling me upset that Rosco ate the shield generator :P
Also plastic do change with Age, and heat changes.
Be neet if you had the money to seal it in acylic block.
